The SDHC ADU Finance Program is an initiative designed to assist moderate-income homeowners who want to build an ADU on their property in the city of San Diego, enabling them to generate rental income through construction loans of up to $250k with a fixed interest rate of 1%.

It’s not obligatory to work with us to qualify for the SDHC ADU Financing Program, but if you do you’ll be able to enjoy a bundle of benefits.
How much can I potentially rent my ADU for?
The rent for the ADU must remain affordable (30% or less of the renter’s monthly household income) for seven years for households with income up to 80% of AMI.
How can I know if I’m eligible for the program?
Eligible households for the SDHC ADU Finance Program must have an income up to 120% of San Diego's Area Median Income (AMI), own a residential property (a detached single-family residence) within the City of San Diego, and their main home must be owner-occupied. Have a minimum credit score of 680 and contribute to the construction loan with a 1%.
