RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct quantity takeoffs and review project plans/specifications to gain a complete understanding of the scope of work
Perform length and area takeoffs
Support field operations by doing comparison takeoffs and progress takeoffs
Recap takeoff quantities in spreadsheets
Review plans, soils reports, bid schedules, and specifications for necessary information
Understand the public works bid process including bid runs and sub quote entering on bid days
Assist estimators in bid reviews or field hand offs
Visit future job sites for pre-bid planning and/or attend pre-bid meetings
Identify any missing pricing of labor, scope and material

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction project management

BASIC SKILLS

Must be able to interpret blueprints, schematics, isometrics and specifications
Math levels should be comfortable doing algebra and geometry
Intermediate computer skills and experience with Google Suite (docs, spreadsheets, slides)
