RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet documented deadlines and complete tasks according to project milestones while following code standards.
A proactive personality is required to learn about and explore new technologies and innovative software development processes based on continuous integration.
You must have the ability to create database schemas that represent and support our business processes.
Develop code through good practices and programming standards.
Code, test, and deploy in different environments (dev, staging, prod).
Review pull requests code from your fellow developers.
Work throughout the development process with agile methodologies.
Experience in maintenance and updating of new solutions.
Capacity, resilience, and proactivity to maintain and improve existing solutions.
Work under the system’s design, and adequately carry out the different stages and principles that this entails together with a team of high-performance collaborators.
Ability to find the best technical solutions on your own and prevent possible errors.
Ability to collaborate effectively with other software engineers and collaborators, communicating fluently in Spanish and English, both spoken and written.
Ability to travel occasionally to our headquarter offices in San Diego to be part of strategic planning meetings as well as other activities related to the department.
You will need to participate in company culture events, team building dynamics, and training workshops when requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in back-end development.
80%+ Bilingual.
Working experience with Git/Github and other VCS, CI/CD flows, automated tests, SQL and NO-SQL databases/data structures.
Egoless attitude that welcomes feedback and criticism, and enjoys working in a collaborative, iterative, and agile process.
Good communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.
