Construction Project Manager

The Construction Project Managerrole is a multifaceted role responsible for ensuring that all projects are running as planned and on budget. The project manager will allocate resources and delegate tasks effectively so that milestones are completed. It is expected that the Project Manager will have to make effective decisions when multiple options are presented. Schedule adjustments will be required to meet department goals or project changes (internal or external). Keep track of change orders and cross department tasks. The Project Manager also needs to demonstrate excellent communication with the Director to make sure that goals are aligned with the department. Our projects may vary from new constructions, ADUs, home remodels, landscape, site work and utility connections.

  • This is a growing and evolving position so please be prepared to not only complete the duties shown below but also embrace other opportunities offered to you.
  • Oversee each assigned project from start to finish
  • Administer contract documents as both Contractors and Subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate documentation for construction project scope and scheduling
  • Interfaces with all departments and resolves problems and issues as necessary
  • Once a project planner has coordinated transition of project from bid/awards phase to construction phase, monitor progress of construction phase and quality of the work at the project site for compliance with contract documents and prepare/distribute appropriate reports
  • Coordinates with the accounting team to ensure the project is on timeline and budget, and advises management if any issues occur


  • Construction management experience is required
  • Experience with interpretation of construction contracts
  • Excellent organization skill
  • Maintains integrity, high ethics and professional codes of conduct at all times
  • Ability to establish good working relationships across the organization including upper management, trade partners, designer, architects, and clients
  • Understanding of Construction Systems
  • Self-starter mindset and the ability to perform at a high level with limited direct supervision
  • Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines though analytic problem solving
  • Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, unpredictable environment
  • General computer efficiency including ability to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
