The Architectural Drafter role is a multifaceted role responsible for drafting designs, analyzing and interpreting scope of work and project requirements and processing RFIs during construction. The ideal candidate will be involved from the phase prior to the construction of the project until its final phase. Our projects may vary from new constructions, ADUs, home remodels, landscape, site work and utility connections.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design residential layouts, including ADU’s, remodels, additions and more
Process RFIs during construction
Report to the lead Architect of Project Planning
Review and analyze scope of work and project requirements for each job to ensure all building requirements can be accommodated

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years’ experience as an Architectural Drafter with day-to-day responsibilities of drafting floor plans, elevations and details.
BIM (nice to have)
CAD/AUTOCAD
REVIT
Blue-Print Work/ 3-D Modeling
Production Style Residential Drafting/Design Experience
Excellent organization skill
Maintains integrity, high ethics and professional codes of conduct at all times
Self-starter mindset and the ability to perform at a high level with limited direct supervision
Flexibility to effectively deal with changing priorities and timelines though analytic problem solving
Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team-oriented environment
Ability to work in a fast paced, unpredictable environment
General computer efficiency including ability to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferably have a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture or a related field
